The BP5133 chip serves as a full bridge rectifier and linear current regulator. If you want to "hack" the lightbulb, to reduce it's power, reduce the heat and extend the life of the LED's you can replace the resistor to 100 Ω like in the schematic. The modification will reduce the power from 4,9W to 1,5W and reduce the temperature to 50°C Tamb = 21°C. This LED light bulb has 7 packages of LED's.
